If the Rapid Track icon is missing from the desktop screen of an FDA600 Handheld or you need to reinstall Rapid Track, you can try the following steps to reinstall the application:


  1. If the Rapid Track icon is missing just like the image below, you will need to reinstall the application using the instructions in the next steps.



  2. First you will need to navigate to "My Device" by double tapping on the "My Device" icon in the top left of the Desktop.



  3. Once you have opened up the "My Device" folder, you should see the following folders. Now navigate to "Storage Card" by double tapping on the "Storage Card" icon, which is usually towards the bottom left of the screen. If you do not see the folder, you may need to use the scrollbar on the right hand side to scroll down to bring it into your view.



  4. Once you have opened up the "Storage Card" folder, you should see the following files and folders. From here you should execute the Rapid Track installer by double tapping on the "install_RTK..." icon. At this point the FDA600 should run an automated script to install the application. The FDA600 should reboot twice and the Rapid Track software should be reinstalled in no more than 5 minutes.
