If your Computer Keyboard isn't working or responding, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:


  1. Check Connectivity.

    First you should make sure that your Keyboard is still connected to your computer. Follow the wire from your Keyboard and it should lead to your computer tower. Be sure that it is plugged in securely and test again.

  2. Reboot Computer.

    If the step above did not resolve the issue you can try restarting your computer. Follow the steps below for the easiest way to do this without a working Keyboard:
    a) Save and Close any open documents.
    b) Use the mouse to navigate to the Start Menu usually in the bottom left and left click.
    c) At the bottom right of the Start Menu you should see a "Shut Down" option. Left click on the little arrow next to that, and select "Restart" from the popup menu.
